One of the other couples apart of NieuCommunities, Matt and Amy Chapman, have been wading the pregnancy waters right along side Janny and I. This past weekend they had their baby boy and we gathered as a church community on Tuesday night to pray a blessing over this little guy and his future. It was a beautiful and hopeful experience as we committed to share in the development of our newest community member. After praying for him, everyone turned their prayers of blessing to Janny and our baby girl who is so close to being in our arms. Janny and I were nearly moved to tears as we experienced the power of such a community commitment. We are so grateful.
